Alpha Epsilon Lambda -The National Graduate and Professional Honor Society

Alpha Omega Chapter

 In Spring 2014, 23 Graduate and Professional Students from ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ (¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥) became Founding Members of the Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Lambda. ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ joins 46 other chapters and over 12,000 members. Membership in Alpha Epsilon Lambda is open to graduate and professional students who have:

  • Completed at least 12 credit hours of graduate work
  • Have a GPA in the top 35% of the college in which the student is enrolled, and
  • Are involved in leadership roles such as a student organization officer while in the graduate or professional program.

The organization is recognized by the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Division of Students Affairs, students are inducted every Fall and Spring.
Membership in Alpha Epsilon Lambda provides graduate and professional students with:

  • Recognition of academic achievement and leadership,
  • Opportunity to interact with graduate and professional students across colleges, and
  • Membership in an organization that is nationally recognized that can be noted on a resume or CV.
  • Members are eligible to wear a cord and/or stole as part of graduation regalia.
