IER & Data Analytics

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (IER), & Data Analytics collaborates with university administration and academic departments to support institutional decision making and student success at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. The Office promotes the use of institutional data, analysis, and research for decision making in keeping with ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥'s educational mission. This Office is also charged with the creative exploration of issues of institutional importance, which include retention trends, graduation rates, and program evaluation.

Office Goals:

  • Develop a clear vision and effective operations to support institutional information needs and the needs of external stakeholders.
  • Engage with academic leaders of the University to determine their data, reporting, and analysis needs.
  • Use data analytics and data science techniques to support creative decision making and new ways of looking at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥.
  • Conduct quantitative research and analysis relevant to institutional policy, programmatic, and planning needs.
  • Anticipate, develop, and deliver ad hoc research reports, using multiple forms of data, in service of key institutional issues.
